He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 As for him who considers himself free from need (of you), 5 to him didst thou give thy whole attention, 6 although thou art not accountable for his failure to attain to purity; 7 And to him who came to you eagerly 8 and who has fear of God, 9 You neglect. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 On honourable pages. 13 Exalted, pure. 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 From what thing did He create him? 18 Of a small seed; He created him, then He made him according to a measure, 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 We let the rain pour down in torrents 25 And We split the earth in clefts, 26 And produce therein corn, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 And olives and date palms, 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 But when the great calamity comes 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 but others will be gloomy 40 and covered by darkness. 41 It is they, the disbelievers, the sinners. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
