Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
