Nuh said: My Lord! surely they have disobeyed me and followed him whose wealth and children have added to him nothing but loss. 21 “And they carried out a very sinister scheme.” 22 And they say: By no means leave your gods, nor leave Wadd, nor Suwa; nor Yaghus, and Yauq and Nasr. 23 They have led many astray; so lead the wrongdoers to further error." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned, then were made to enter the Fire, and they found none to help them instead of Allah. 25 And Nuh said: My Lord! leave not upon the land any dweller from among the unbelievers: 26 "If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers." 27 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and forgive all believers, both men and women, and do not increase the wrong-doers in anything except perdition.” 28
