The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the crushing torment. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 covered down upon them, 8 in towering columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
