Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 to those who make display 6 And who withholds even common necessaries. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
