T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress, 2 but only as an exhortation to all who stand in awe [of God]: 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 And if thou speakest the word aloud, then verily He knoweth the secret and the most hidden. 7 God, there is no deity but Him. His are the most excellent names. 8 And did the news of Moosa reach you? 9 When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire. 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 “And I have chosen you, therefore listen carefully to what is divinely revealed to you.” 13 I Am the only God. Worship Me and be steadfast in prayer to have My name always in your mind. 14 Verily the Hour (of the great change) is about to come. I keep it secret that every soul may be rewarded for its endeavour. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa (Moses)?" 17 He answered: "It is my staff; I lean on it; and with it I beat down leaves for my sheep; and [many] other uses have I for it." 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he cast it down, and thereupon it turned into a sliding serpent. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 “In order that We may show you Our great signs.” 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
