Al-Naml 6 of 7
And those who disbelieve say: What! when we have become dust and our fathers (too), shall we certainly be brought forth? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Your Lord has many favors for mankind but most of them are ungrateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
