Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every one of them aspire to be admitted into a Garden of Delight? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 To bring instead (others) better than them, and We shall not be overcome. 41 So leave them alone to plunge and play, until they encounter the Day which they are promised; 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44

True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
