The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 and those that draw out violently, 2 And by those who float in space, 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 On that Day will [men's] hearts be throbbing, 8 and their eyes shall be humbled. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They will say: 'Then we are returned lost' 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 and say: "Will you purify yourself, 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 Then he turned his back, striving. 22 then he mustered 23 and proclaimed, and he said, 'I am your Lord, the Most High!' 24 Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present. 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
