And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
