The Elephant (Al-Feel)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? 1 Did He not utterly confound their artful planning? 2 And send against them swarms of flying creatures, 3 Striking them with stones of baked clay. 4 to turn them into (something) like the left-over grass grazed by cattle. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
