Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused to grow, over him, a spreading plant of the gourd kind. 146 and We sent him forth to a nation of a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 But not so the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 160 But as for you, and that you worship, 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 If we had but a reminder from the men of old 168 we would have certainly been sincere servants of God". 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be upon the Envoys; 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
