Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 Thamud, 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
