The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
