Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 And ease my task for me; 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 and let him share my task, 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 And remember you a great deal. 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 We had already shown you favor 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother with My signs, and do not be negligent of My Remembrance. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 Moses replied, "Our Lord is He who has given everything its form, then guided it." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 Said Moses, 'The knowledge of them is with my Lord, in a Book; my Lord goes not astray, nor forgets -- 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle; most surely there are signs in this for those endowed with understanding. 54
