Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 but if anyone eavesdrops, he is pursued by a bright flaming fire. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
