Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
