Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
