The food of the Zakkum tree 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 As does boiling water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
