Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
