The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord has so directed it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
