We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
