And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
