No, by the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 A warning unto humankind 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
