(O Prophet!) Whatever you may be engaged in, whether you recite any portion of the Qur'an, or whatever else all of you are doing, We are witnesses to whatever you may be occupied with. Not even an atom's weight escapes your Lord on the earth or in the heaven, nor is there anything smaller or bigger than that, except that it is on record in a Clear Book. 61 Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve; 62 Those who believe and guarded (against evil): 63 For them there is the glad tiding [of happiness] in the life of this world and in the life to come; [and since] nothing could ever alter [the outcome of] God's promises, this, this is the triumph supreme! 64 And let not their speech grieve you; surely might is wholly Allah's; He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 65 Lo! verily Allah's is whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is on the earth. And what is it that they follow who call unto associate-gods beside Allah? They follow but an opinion, and they are but conjecturing. 66 It is He who made the night for you to rest, and made the day enlightening. Indeed there are signs in this for those who listen. 67 They say: Allah hath taken (unto Him) a son - Glorified be He! He hath no needs! His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Ye have no warrant for this. Tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not? 68 Tell them (O Muhammad!): 'Indeed those who invent lies against Allah will never prosper. 69 A brief enjoyment in this world! - and then unto Us will be their return, then We shall make them taste the severest torment because they used to disbelieve [in Allah, belie His Messengers, deny and challenge His Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc.)]. 70
