And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 and the Cry seized them in the morning; 83 So nothing availed them [from] what they used to earn. 84 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them except with truth, and the Hour is surely coming, so overlook (O Muhammad SAW), their faults with gracious forgiveness. [This was before the ordainment of Jihad holy fighting in Allah's Cause]. 85 verily, thy Sustainer is the all-knowing Creator of all things! 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Promulgate thou that which thou art commanded, and turn away from the associaters. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Proclaim thy Lord's praise, and be of those that bow, 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
