۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
