Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
