Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 we are they that give glory. 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And (then) see them, so they too shall see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
