Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
