The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
