O ye who believe! Devour not usury, doubled and multiplied; but fear Allah; that ye may (really) prosper. 130 Guard yourselves against the Fire prepared for unbelievers. 131 And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may obtain mercy. 132 ۞ Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- 133 who expend in prosperity and adversity in almsgiving, and restrain their rage, and pardon the offences of their fellowmen; and God loves the good-doers; 134 (Paradise) is also for those who, when committing a sin or doing injustice to themselves, remember God and ask Him to forgive their sins. Who can forgive sins besides God? And who do not knowingly persist in their mistakes? 135 Those -- their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and how excellent is the wage of those who labour! 136 Indeed there have been examples before you; therefore travel in the earth and see what was the end of the rejecters. 137 Here is a plain statement to men, a guidance and instruction to those who fear Allah! 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If you have been struck by some misfortune, so they (the disbelievers) too have been struck earlier with the same misfortune; these are the days in which We have allotted turns to people; and so that Allah may make known the believers and may bestow martyrdom to some of you; and Allah does not befriend the unjust. 140 This is so that God may try the faithful and destroy the unbelievers. 141 Or, deem ye that ye shall enter the Garden while yet Allah hath not known those of you who have striven hard nor yet known the steadfast! 142 And assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it. Now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on. 143
