Say, "Travel about the land and see what was the end of the deniers." 11 Say: "Unto whom belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "Unto God, who has willed upon Himself the law of grace and mercy. He will assuredly gather you all together on the Day of Resurrection, [the coming of] which is beyond all doubt: yet those who have squandered their own selves - it is they who refuse to believe [in Him,] 12 ۞ Unto Him belongeth whatsoever resteth in the night and the day. He is the Hearer, the Knower. 13 Say: Shall I take a guardian besides Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds (others) and is not (Himself) fed. Say: I am commanded to be the first who submits himself, and you should not be of the polytheists. 14 Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day." 15 One who will be saved from the torment on the Day of Judgment will certainly have received God's mercy and this will be a manifest triumph. 16 (Muhammad), if God afflicts you with hardship, no one besides Him will be able to relieve you. If He bestows a favor on you, know that He has power over all things. 17 And He is the Irresistible, above His slaves, and He is the All-Wise, Well-Acquainted with all things. 18 Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him." 19 Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it as they recognize their sons. Those who have lost their own souls, they do not believe. 20
