Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah (of old) unto his people, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an Awful Day. 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 Said he, 'My people, there is no error in me; but I am a Messenger from the Lord of all Being.' 61 I deliver to you the messages of my Lord, and I offer you good advice and I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our tokens. Lo! they were blind folk. 64
