Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat). Sent down in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
