Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
