It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: What! When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
