The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, and what beneficial kinds of things We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
