۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
