I swear by all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 It is a Revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would surely have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
