Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 and the brooding night! 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
