Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 [But] He will say: "Away with you into this [ignominy]! And speak no more unto Me! 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
