۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
