The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
CONSIDER those [stars] that rise only to set, 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits, etc.). 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 One Day everything that can be in commotion will be in violent commotion, 6 and the second blast follows it, 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 even after we have been reduced to bones, hollow and rotten?” 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 And they will wake up suddenly. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 [saying], "Go to Pharaoh, he has exceeded all bounds, 17 And say: 'Would you like to grow (in virtue)? 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 In response, he denied and disobeyed. 21 and hastily turned away, 22 So he gathered the people, and proclaimed. 23 And proclaimed: "I (Pharaoh) am your Lord the Highest." 24 but God seized him and meted out to him the chastisement of both the next world and the present: 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
