Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 then he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
