The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
