Y S (Yaa Seen)
83 verses, revealed in Mecca after Jinns (Al-Jinn) before The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
