BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In both of them are two fountains flowing. 50 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors would you then deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 62 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 63 dark green in color. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 With two fountains gushing constantly, -- 66 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
