Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 and nay, I swear by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man imagine that We will not be able to bring his bones together again? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 Nay, but man desires to continue on as a libertine, 5 He asketh: when will the Day of Resurrection be? 6 But when sight is confounded 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 And the sun and the moon shall be joined. 9 On that day man will cry out, “Where shall I flee?” 10 Never! There is no refuge! 11 For on that Day the refuge shall be to your Lord. 12 Upon that day man shall be told his former deeds and his latter; 13 Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 So, when We recite it, follow thou its recitation. 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 Nay, (ye men!) but ye love the fleeting life, 20 And neglect the Hereafter. 21 That day will faces be resplendent, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 And (other) faces on that day shall be gloomy, 24 so they might think the Calamity had been inflicted upon them. 25 NAY, but when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 26 and the angels say, "Who will take away his soul, 27 and he thinks that it is the parting 28 And anguish will be heaped upon anguish: 29 upon that day unto thy Lord shall be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
