The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 slain were the Men of the Pit, 4 by a burning fire 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
